CLASSIC.
The signature extended pose, held as long as possible before the all-important closing movement.
We’re bringing death diving to Canada.
Our vision: 20 metres up.
It looks like a belly flop in the air. It definitely shouldn't end like one in the water. That's the magic of Death Diving.
Athletes leap from a platform and spread out dramatically during the fall, then close their body into a safer entry position at the last moment.
It's a sport built on creativity, timing and precise control—not just a big splash.
Take off from a controlled platform with the crowd looking on.
Hold the dramatic open pose or add rotations in freestyle.
Close into a controlled entry before meeting the water.
Same gravity, different personalities. Both rely on skill, training and commitment.
The signature extended pose, held as long as possible before the all-important closing movement.
Creative rotations, unexpected shapes and pure midair showmanship—all leading to a controlled entry.
Death Diving Canada is bringing the sport to Canada with a bold vision: a 20-metre platform, world-class athletes and a spectacle built for the big stage. Bigger air. Bigger ambition. A Canadian take on an unforgettable sport.
Death diving grew out of Norway’s pool culture, where it is known as døds. We respect the athletes and community who helped build the sport—and we’re bringing our own Canadian vision to the water.
